Scheduled for an early 2024 release, the redesigned 2024 Hyundai Sonata will start at $27,500 for its entry-level SEL trim; around $2,000 more than this year's $25,450. The increase in price doesn't come out of nowhere however, as the higher-specced SEL trim replaces the SE as the entry-level trim this year. 2024 Hyundai Sonata Starting MSRP:

Redesigned Exterior

The most obvious difference between the two Sonatas is definitely the radical shift in exterior design. While the 2023 Hyundai Sonata looks like a sleek aquatic animal, the 2024 Sonata is like a sedan from a futuristic cyberpunk era. Additional changes include:

Updated Displays

The interior of the 2024 Sonata also receives some updates, with the dual 12.3-inch touchscreen displays being the most significant. Acting as both infotainment and a digital instrument cluster, the curved displays add a touch of futuristic flair to the Sonata. 

Better Performance and Fuel Economy

The 2024 Hyundai Sonata is equipped with the same 191-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that powers the current 2023 model. A high-performance 290 horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine will also be available in the N-Line and Limited trims.
